A former pre-kindergarten teacher’s aide at Woodbine Elementary School in Cape May County was charged with dozens of sexual abuse related charges, including 29 counts of manufacturing child pornography.
Shaun Stebbins, who prosecutors first said they were investigating in April 2026, was formally charged following a monthslong investigation.
According to prosecutors, Stebbins was found to have photos and videos of Woodbine Elementary School students on his devices.
Stebbins, along with the 29 counts of manufacturing child pornography, was also charged with five counts of aggravated sexual assault, 13 counts of sexual assault by sexual contact and 14 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Prosecutors said in April that Stebbins was accused of sexually assaulting four children between 2014 and 2025, including one as young as 5 years old.
Stebbins worked at Woodbine Elementary School from Feb. 2022 until his arrest on March 29, 2026. He remains in custody pending trial.
